How do you make the words bold in my posts?

I've seen a lot of black bold words here. And I want to know how to do that! Can someone help me? Thank you!!! :)

there are instant icons next to the smileys there is one that says bold click it then there will be a message box that you put whatever you want in bold in there then click ok and it ill come up!!
