I just thought I'd give a little update on Miss Kate's emerging personality! She's the most affectionate little kittie I've ever seen! I thought Toby was affectionate but he's aloof compared to this little girl. She literally has to be with us 24 hours a day. She wants to be held/carried constantly, and it's impossible to get anything done without her sitting on our laps or crawling up our legs. I can't paint without her crawling on the desk and playing with the paintbrush and trying to put cute little pawprints on all of my pictures! I was thinking of developing a new signature - just a Kate print! She's sitting on my lap as I type! She sleeps in bed with my daughter all night, and even when she's playing with her toys she stays right beside us.
She absolutely will not let us put her down when we're outside - she rides in the pockets of my husband's sweatshirts!
We're going to a funeral out of state in a few days, and I really don't think we'll be able to leave her home or with a border, so I think she's coming with us. I hope she tolerates the ride OK!
