I finally went out to Wal-Mart last night and BOUGHT me MY VERY OWN film camera! Oh the joy of having a new camera.. :D My camera's an Olympus Stylus Zoom 140 - it zooms from 38mm to 140mm.. I love it, I can't wait to use it at the concerts and everything else.. I plan on getting a digital one someday.. :)

Same here. We have a Sony Cybershot and no film one worth mentioning. :p:p

We never ever use the film cameras anymore. My parents think its a waste of money, when we have a digital that doesn't need film and doesn't need batteries. We just recharge our batteries, so basically, once you buy the camera, take millions of pictures and the cost is nothing. :)

I have the same one as Kfamr, the canon powershot a60. I love it to pieces! I got it for 20 bucks off so after tax, it was $430 canadian. The a70 was on sale for $450 before tax but I don't need 3.2 mps anyways.

We have loads of film cameras. My mom bought a 200-300 dollar one a year or two ago. It takes excellent pics...i can't remember what kind it is though.

Same here. I have two memory cards as well so, one holds 1300+ pictures and the other 160+ pictures. Our Camera works even if the batteries aren't fully charged.

All it really costs is good paper and ink cartidges to have them printed. :p

It's true, most of the coasts goes to the printing...

I have a few film cameras, but they all sort of sucked. One was a Kodak...can't remember the rest. I love my digicam though! :D

For a regular camera, I have a Canon Elph Jr 26mm (takes wonderful pictures and it's tiny!).
And my digital I have an Olympus D-510, I love it as well, just wish it took movies with sound:(.

A Sony Cybershot (DSC-S85) here, too. That is my main camera. I have an older Mavica, too, but it doesn't get used much.

When I first got into digital photography, I bought a photo printer. That was OK, but now everyone I know has a computer so I hardly ever print anything. Either I make a webpage, email the photos, or put them on CD instead of printing them out. I have thousands of prints (from my film days) just sitting in boxes - what a waste. So now I don't print anything save a few outstanding photos for my wall.

All my digital photos are triple backed up, I have copies on two separate hard drives and also backed up on CD-R for archiving.
