It's a snow day today because there is like 14 inches of snow here! http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/eek.gif http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/biggrin.gif Me and lablover and JKRJG24 took our dogs out to go sledding and Nikki had a ball! The snow was up to her shoulders and she was wearing a doggie winter coat. When we went down the hill on our sleds, she chased us and barked. Then when we got of, she took the sleds by the rope and started pulling them. If you throw snow at her, she catches it in her mouth. She loves snow! http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/smile.gif

I am soooo jealous! Even though I'm a proud Southerner by birth and live in MS now, I've had the fortune of living in Upstate New York, Belgium, and Germany. I love snow! I would love to see my boys playing in the snow. Here it is December and my poor Bandit (Pug) can barely make it around the block before his tongue is hanging out. 70 degrees in December! At night temps drop down to about 50. Brrrr. Have fun in the snow and think of my boys and me when you're out playing! http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/biggrin.gif

My one GSD just loved all the snow and blizzard conditions!! She kept asking to go out constantly all day long. She had a great time running and jumping in the drifts. She just loves snow. Now she's passed out sleeping on the bed. What a life!! http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/smile.gif

Yes there was 14 inches of snow dumped in 24 hours. Roads were horrendous, it took me 3.5 hours to drive home from work yesterday and I only had 4 miles to go! My work let us out a few hours early yesterday and today it's a ghost town, there's no one in the parking lot and not anyone here. I am leaving in an hour or two. Huge snow storm! Graham sure does love it, Cassie sure does HATE it! I took them for another walk this morning before work, and had to walk in the tracks in the street, otherwise little princess Cassie is over her head in snow.

It's winters like this that make me feel like a kid again, and Graham too http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/smile.gif

I love the snow!!!!!!! My yorrkie is going crazy though!!! He is 13 but he still loves to play in the back yard!!! He is still like a puppy running and jumping and everything! Anyway since we have 18 inches of snow he has to stay on the shoveled pathes or he drowns in the snow!!!!! sometimes if the snow is hard enough he walkes on the top of it but he's hit a few soft spots and disapered a couple times and it is kindof hard to find him!!!!! LOL!!! He is not liking this very much!!!!!
P.S. BoxerLover and I are going sleding as soon as my mom gets of the phone so I can call her and tell her I'm ready!!!!!

Luckily for me, we haven't had any snow yet (I'm chief shoverler-ugh) but Cody LOVES it too!!! Our neighbors' lawns are beautiful and pristine and ours looks like a cyclone hit it! Roll! Roll! Roll! Best part is tossing your tennis balls and losing them so you have to dig up piles of snow to find them! Then you simply plop down to cool off and get sopping wet and shake in the house! Life is so good for Cody!
