So many new cats/dogs have been added to our families lately...

I was just wondering how many new cats/dogs have been added to our familes this summer...it seems like we are hearing of new pets each day...so i thought i would post a poll to see what was the most popular month this summer for an added dog/cat family member...

We added Dale to our family in July.

I haven't added any new doggie or kitty to our family in 2 years. :(

Of course, it's not because I haven't tried! :D

Grandma is a stray I've fed and taken care of for years. She has always hated other cats so I was afraid to bring her in. After a bout with UTI and other factors coming to a head this summer, I was afraid I'd lose her all together if I didn't at least try bringing her in. To my amazement, it's been like she's always lived in here. After a few hisses and learning the technique of litter boxes, they get along wonderfully. Her first day in the house was August 30, the day before Leonardo's birthday. He's still not sure about THAT birthday present. But some things are just meant to be.:D

We added Spot in March..a little before summer.

I also got 6 new fish in Sept., and our Cone, Casey :)

Nelly is a bird, but we got her in June.:) I didn't get a cat or dog this summer, but I got Prince in December.

We added Tyah (Bunny) into our family and Peaches (chamleon), and Nova in March and a lot of fishies!

Well, I just added the first vote for September. Although Zipper came to us in August, he was supposed to be fostered by us, not taken in permanently! We made the decision on Saturday, 9/6, so I say he is a September addition! :D And I am delighted to have him!!!!

We added Sergei in March and Priya is our newest baby and we adopted her in August. She just got spayed last Thursday and is doing well! Our cats still don't quite know what to make of her, but Sergei and she get along really well:)

I think he is a "Darfw Hotot" . I never thought there was so many kind of breeds :confused: :D
