Isn't ut pretty??? We tones of them on our, pre-pest control hunt. We saw the Great blue heron & nests at the same time ... It was a great day & pre-pest control hunt went perfect.

But I hate spiders. Thank God I have a cat as she probably eats them all. She found a slug the other day but I wouldn't let her eat it. Ew.

We have those spiders here too! We call them writing spiders cause of that thick white zig-zag through the middle.

He is pretty as long as he stays on his web and OFF me!!;)

Yeah, i am not a fan of the spider. But God sure did use His creativity when making that one...it looks like it was hand painted...

It looks like what we call a Garden Spider. You never see them indoors, only outdoors in nature. I LOVE to watch them!!!!! :D What a great shot you got!!!

Omg, thank goodness we don't have them in our neck of the woods. I hate spiders with a passion. BBBuuutttttt I have to admit that the color and markings on this one is awesome. Nice to view it from a distance, a very far distance with a pair of very good, high quality binoculars.

rg_girlca, we wern't far from u. We were in Vars, its right on thew border of Ont & Que, headed ur way :) So I think if u went into a soy-bean field u would find them there too... these spiders were every where, but that one was the largest one & the largest wild spider I have ever seen!!
