Simba, Nala, and the Kiddie Pool *PICS*

Well.. Today after school (we got out early today) my dad took me to get a kiddie pool for Nala. We got a big purple one. :)

Nala didn't like it all that much, hopefully she will get used to it. We took ideas from HERE (http://petoftheday.com/talk/showthread.php?s=&threadid=32477) and tried baby carrots. She dove for some of them but was pretty much afraid of the water.

How Cute!!! :D It looks like Simba..err didn't enjoy the pool. :p At first, Daisy didn't like pools, but now she LOVES to go in! :D Anyway, Simba and Nala are cute as can be!

Oh you two!! Looks like you had so much fun in your kiddie pool...well, Simba not so much, maybe. ;) Nala's clowning around had me laughing for ages. I loved seeing your bright little faces again! Nala's is so loose and floppy...Simba, well, what can I say? He's just a little spunk. :D

Hopefully they'll get used to the pool in time and will be diving in by next summer. Great pics Kay, thanks for the laughs little guys!

Buddy is the Pit Bull (:D ) That lives behind us. His owners got him from some relatives up north that couldn't keep him because where they live it was against the rules to own a Pit Bull. :mad: :mad: He is the most absolute sweetest dog. I doubt he ever goes to the vet or is even fixed. He's always outside. He cries everytime I'm out there and it just breaks my heart. I really wish I could take him. He needs alot of training as he's VERY hyper. Nala and him have met and played before. I posted pictures HERE. (http://petoftheday.com/talk/showthread.php?s=&threadid=26494) His owners said I could take him for walks, but with the way he is i'm afraid he'd bolt out of the gate when I opened it. He needs lots of training, I just wish I could give it to him. Hopefully when it cools down in the winter, I'll be able to invite him over more often.

There's a Golden down the street with the same problem as Buddy. He's left outside all day long and just howls all the time. I've passed by so he and Mickey can run along the fence, but I don't keep him there long. Once his humans saw us so I just walked away. Poor boy. :( And his owners are so stupid, the Golden has dug trying to get free and they put ladders and stone blocks in front so he can't escape. Everyday I see a new thing added. :( You think they'd take a hint and let him inside.

Anyways, sorry got a bit off topic there. Simba and Nala are adorable as usual. :D Thanks for the pics. :)

aww great pics I have a kiddie pool in my back yard as well for Oscar and Tikeya, after everywalk they go in it and run around the house and yard soaking wet lol. they looked like they had fun fun :D.
