meow all!! I have a russian blue mix who sheds a full cat a day!!They is so much fur!! I brush her day after day and it dos'nt seem to help. Does anyone have any suggestions?? My husband is allergic to cats and all this cat hair is not a good thing. We use fabrezz allergy control spray every day (need to buy some stock in the company) and it works to a point. I vacumme daily and dust as often as I can especially in the bedroom. He luvs our 2 kitties and wants to extend our family to 3 cats. I think we will get a short hair! I feel like I have a fur coat on after I get done brushing her!! HELP!!!

I would suggest using a shedding blade as a brush. Here are some threads to let you know what I'm talking about.

The original post asking about it (http://petoftheday.com/talk/showthread.php?s=&threadid=29332&highlight=SHEDDING+BLADE)

One good result (http://petoftheday.com/talk/showthread.php?s=&threadid=31270&highlight=SHEDDING+BLADE)

Another good result (http://petoftheday.com/talk/showthread.php?s=&threadid=30430&highlight=SHEDDING+BLADE)

And one more good result (http://petoftheday.com/talk/showthread.php?s=&threadid=31811&highlight=SHEDDING+BLADE)

I think these things get out a lot more hair than any other brush I've ever tried. We do have less hair in the house now that I've started using one of these on Tubby on a regular basis. Try it, they're not expensive and it might just solve your problems. :)
