It was so difficult.......I would have LOVED to have adopted one (or all? ;) :D) of those dogs and cats. Unfortunately I know that wouldn't have worked so well for my parents.....:(

But we couldn't come home without a new pet, right?

They don't have names yet but we do know they are a very rare species....the "German Shorthair Cone" and the "Siberian Husky Cone."

Oh I forgot to mention..let's see....Nebo was a malamute (as usual), akita, some weird japanese breed I've never heard of, wolf, ah what else? Oh yes, a guy with a husky the size of a large malamute told me mine must be a "little scrawny racing husky" because he's too small to be a siberian husky. Ummm ok last time I checked sibes don't weigh over 100 lbs..:rolleyes:

Lady was a "river dog" (this was a new one...still confused about that...) a dalmatian, lab...

It's so amusing to listen to people try to guess the breed! :p It's just D-O-G we don't have to make it complicated! ;)

Cute pics!!! I wish we had something like that down here. Yep, blaze(white stripe on head)and panda(white head) ferts are known to carry the gene that causes deafness. Not all of those marking types are deaf, but most are. I love all ferts, but my favorite color pattern are blazes with ruby eyes...they're so cute!
