Air plane ears???

I swear I heard some of you crazy cat folk :p talking about how your kitties make air plane ears. I can not find one single thread on it though, have I gone insane?? Do your cats really make "air plane" ears??? Or did I just make this up one late night when Misty was sleeping on top of me??

Anyone know what I'm talking about???

We call this Ritzy's "Yoda Imitation".....she runs to the top of the stairs and "flattens out" (not just her ears, her whole body as you can see) into a big cat puddle....like she could really hide!!!

Russian, the blue kitty on your bottom picture; is that what it is called? Russian Blue? A friend of mine that was just staying here had a beautiful kitty that looked just like that.
