What does the abbreviation (sp?) mean? Thanks, lol. :)

(sp?) means spelling error, or possible spelling error.

Abbreviation (sp?) means a shortened form of a word or words especially one using the initial letters such as G.C.S.E, St., USA

That's interesting, thelwell! But here in America we also use (sp?) as a proper grammatical abbreviation noting possible spelling error.:) One of those dreaded red marks often found on term papers!:D

Yes, I use it when I'm not sure of the spelling of a word and I'm too lazy to actually look it up and type it correctly. Much easier to type (sp?) and let people know that sometimes I'm an idiot. ;) :D

oops!! i just read the q again i miss read it!! i though they asked wot abbreviation means.. i didnt realise they wanted to no wot the (sp?) 1 ment!! my mistake!!
