What are Chester and Noah doing???

This morning, right after I woke up, I went at sat next to the rat's cage. I didn't take any of them out because 3 dogs were in the area. Well anyway, the rats just chewed some more on their soft, expensive cat bed that be bought them, after I just cleaned it out last night. Well Chester and Noah were staring at me through the cage. They both kept picking up this stuffing, looking at me and pushing it up against the cage, where I was. Were they trying to hand it to me or something? What were they doing?
