What a beautiful garden. I love the colors and varieties.

I have a black thumb when it comes to flowers. I do OK with veggies, but not flowers. And if we had ponds, I shudder to think what the doggies would look like!

Yes, I love summer and all the gardening time it presents.

And two ponds!!! Be still my heart!!!! I will have my pond, one day. Do you have fish in your ponds?

Actually I have 3 ponds. The other is a little one behind the gazebo. All have fish - gold fish that I bought as tiny little ones and are now between 8 & 12 inches long. I had two koi but they got huge and were eating the roots to the plants so I gave them to my sister who has ponds also.

And if we had ponds, I shudder to think what the doggies would look like!
The dogs are not allowed near the ponds except for Dazzi who is the only one who stays in the yard. The ponds are not in the fenced area that is theirs.

Oh, I just remembered. When Taggert was a pup, right after we got him, he got too close to the pond and fell in. We both were so startled, that I didn't give him a chance to see if he could swim. But what a time trying to get him out!!

What a nice retreat you have there. Very pretty! I love all those black eyed Susans. Makes me think of being in a field full of flowers. I also love the ponds. I have this mini indoor garden that I would love to turn into a pond. It would be quite the conversation piece. Unfortunately, I don't have the few extra hundred $$ I'd need to convert it. *sigh* I'll admire yours though. :)
