You must check out this great hat (and great website) Cat hats (http://www.fabulousfelines.net/cat-apparel-hats.html)

Couldn't you just die????

I am sure the red Cowboy hat with rhinestones, uhm diamonds would meet her expensive taste;)

I am thinking of getting Bettie one of these (http://www.here-kittykitty.com/newjewcol.html). :)

And if Edwina's parents are going to Europe, the least they can do is bring her back a beret. :D

I think Winnie has a beret already, but of course she will need special somethings. A beret from Germany seems somewhat contradictory. Leiderhosen perhaps  Somehow I don't see her in a cowboy hat either, a bit - shall we say - suburban - for such sophisti"cated" woman.

Digging deep in her closet, Edwina says....

And NOW I understand what she was trying to tell me here!

She wants her own jewelry!!!! (or she is going after mine!)
I'm thinking of getting her the pink baby pearls with the pink crown...it is so Lady Edwina!

(BTW...Rockton Illinois is where my parents live. Perhaps I should look this woman up when I am there this weekend!)

I love the collars. A great idea for Hayley and Mandy's christmas gift.

There was no picture, but I think Edwina would look absolutely divine in the "Emerald Green with Cream Ribbon and Burgundy Bow." :D

I like the idea of the pink baby pearls with the pink crown, as long as the crown flashing as it reflects the light doesn't catch Eddie's attention so he goes over to bat at it....while Edwina is wearing it!  :D

I think a trip to Rockton is definitely in order, Sara. You could save the shipping charges. And then you could meet the lady and Edwina could have her very own, personal haberdasher. :D Just think, custom made hats. Just come up with an idea and the lady could make it. This is just so Edwina. :D

Sara, if I look at the models this lady has - I don't think they are as classy as her designs.

Wouldn't it be time that Miz E. got her own collection?

Name: "So Edwina"

The prettiest kitties worldwide would go for it!

We could perhaps give Edwina references? Let her know that Edwina comes into the deal with a strong fan base??;)

Brilliant idea - I would write a reference for Miss Edwina - I'm a huge fan! I also agree that those hats are just not in Edwina's league, she requires designs altogether more stylish.

Killearn Kitties - What Barbara was saying was that Edwina was classier than the kitty models, NOT that the hats were unstylish.

Do you really think they're sub-par? I thought they were quite good, especially when I saw what little else there was out there.

To me Lady Edwina always seemed more Versace than Armani -so I thought some of designs were just her cup of tea. But "understatement" is not her middle name ;)

I'd love to get one of those for Hermie when she gets older. It says they are stretchy, but not safety (breakfree) collars. I wonder if a cat can still get out of them in a pinch?

Great link Soledad, I'll be sure and keep that one. :)

Soledad, I think I am just a total novice when it comes to cat hats! The only ones I had ever seen were Edwina's. It still amazes me that people make hats for cats. Perhaps it's an American thing? Or perhaps I am just failing my girls miserably? I thought the diamond collars were superb though!!

The only hats that I have for my cats are Santa and Reindeer hats. They hate wearing them. I think it takes a certain type of cat like Edwina to be able to wear and enjoy wearing hats. :)

Dear Edwina,

Having had a look at the collars, I think you'd look gorgeous in the Ametyst/Diamond or in the Pink Jeweltone. It would really go well with your furcolour.

Of course, I thought of Fister too, don't you think he'd look fabulous in the Sapphire Jeweltone? Or simply the Smokey Rhinestone!!

I never heard of cat hats before Edwina, and I think they're fairly scarce. But I have heard of people dressing up dogs before, and since many pampered pooches are the toy variety, the fashion can easily be adopted by cats. Especially cats of Edwina's, shall we say, voluptitude?

;)
