lean his head against a solid object when he naps?

i have noticed that when Eddie takes a nap he
finds a place where he can prop his head up.

Places?

the couch, the armrest of his chair, a cardboard box, my leg...........

Joxer likes to snooze on the headboard - He'll lean against a phone, a magazine, he doesn't care.

Sid will prop his head up on the couch. He has one specific spot that is his - he is very disappointed with us when we accidentaly leave a coat or other object in "his" corner.

Of my 3, Luke does that. He is currently in the bathroom sleeping on the carpet with his head leaning against the bottom of the toilet. He also likes to sleep on my bed with his head against my stack of books I tend to keep near my pillow.

Doogie snoozes on the kitty tree in the kitchen. He props his head up against the windowsill.

MooShoo on the otherhand, loves to curl up under the covers with his head on my pillow. :D :D

Anything warm, like a sunny window, our laps or they pile up on each other :)

She just sleeps where she falls. She has one rule when we are home... Meowmie and Daddy must be near by!

You mean like this?

Unless Tubby is on the back of a chair or the couch, or in his pad, he always has to sleep with his front half propped up like this. Can't believe I don't have more pics of it and had to go this far back to find one. He is probably about 2 years old in this pic.

Here's a more current pic, but not quite what I think you're talking about. I saw this and wondered how it could be comfortable, but he slept like this for hours!

I think I'd have to be in traction for a week if I slept like that for a few hours.

My cat doesn't really prop her head up, but she stretches out her paw and needs to rest THAT against something :D- sometimes she's a bit strange. She also sleeps with her head in the pillow- like she can't breathe or something.
