Lately I've been thinking about another pet I might get in the near future(maybe about a year from now)and I have SO MANY different ideas, I've thought about getting a rat, a pig( no not a guniea pig a real little Piggie), a Kitten, another Yorkie, but most of all I'd love a horse but I know we won't get one :p we only have 2 acres and you need 5 to own a horse and my dad wouldn't let me keep him in a stable so my horse dream is going to be delayed until I'm an adult:rolleyes: :p but I also really like the pig idea, I know it sounds weird but what do you all think? Do any of you know about pigs and the care of them?

sorry I kind of blabbed on about it all:rolleyes:

Oh yea I've also been considering a bunny, and after My visit at my aunts house I have an ambition to have a little squirrel even though they bite:( :p

Our family friend, Jim, used to have 2 potbelly pigs named Tinkerbell and Rosie. They were extremely cute, and they were potty trained...they rang a bell next to the door to go outside. They were very protective of Jim and their house. Loved to get scratched and rubbed.

Many people don't know this, but pigs are smarter than dogs!!

Also, if you plan to keep the pig in the house, it is wise to get a potbelly instead of a farm pig. Farm pigs can get up to 600 pounds, and have to be housed outside. Potbellies are around 30-60 pounds or so, and can be housed inside.
