Well, I FINALLY got a call back about this little girl (http://www.petfinder.org/pet.cgi?action=2&pet=1765296&adTarget=468catbaby&SessionID=3f3167be3fff9f31-app1&display=&preview=&row=0).

I'm going to visit her on Friday and I'll let you know how it goes. Also, I am considering adopting her mother (http://www.petfinder.org/pet.cgi?action=2&pet=1765298&adTarget=468petsgeneral&SessionID=3f31682914b8dded-app2&display=&preview=1&row=0) (either, or...not both) who happens to look EXACTLY like Boo.

They are both adorable!!! What does Boo think about a sister?

Either choice wouled be wonderful. But my 2 cents, for what it is worth, the baby will find a home much faster than her mom, so if you can see it in your heart to adopt mom, you'd be doing a compassionate thing.

It will really just be based on what their personalities are like. My main responsibility is to Boo, and I need to pick the cat that will be the best companion to him.

The mom is just 9 months, and technically still a kitten herself.

Oh the Momma Citta is just beautiful. The baby girl does look
like the momma cat.http://www.petfinder.org/fotos/DC03.1765298.jpg

At nine months, she's still really a kitten herself.:D :D

I think they are both adorable. Too bad you can't take them both but I do understand. I hope Boo agrees with your decision and everything works out wonderfully.

This is exactly what I SHOULD have added. Thank you for being level-headed (is that the right term?)

Awww! I think either of them would be a great choice for Boo. :)

Citta is beautiful, and I love her name! But it sounds like you're doing the right thing by thinking what is best for Boo. With a kitten it's kinda hard to tell what their personality will be as they grow, but I'm sure you'll still get a "feel" for her - actually for both of them - and will make the best choice.

Can't wait to hear which one you get! :D

Good luck, I hope at least one of them is a good fit for Boo.

I feel for Citta, only nine months old and a mummy already, but I see she's been altered :)

Both mother and daughter are gorgeous.:) I hope that one of them will have the right personality for Boo. It sounds like they're both sweet cats. Good luck. :)

So Citta is a teenage mom (just like Tigris' mom). She has the same eye make-up as young Logan. Whatever choice you'll make it will be a good choice:)

I am sure whichever one you chose it will be the right one.
I am so glad you are opening your home to another kitty!!
I think Boo will love either one!

Both are beautiful cats, but yes I think I would go for the mother, for the same reasons Jen mentioned, also I adopted Lexie at the same age, and she was a teenage mother too, and has turned out to be the sweetest natured kitty, so hopefully this one will too, good luck on your choice.

My vote? I think you should adopt BOTH! I know it will be a decision you will never come to regret.

My lease stipulates that I cannot have more than two pets and I don't know that I want three cats in our wee one bedroom apartment.

BUT...I did go and see them today. They're all wonderful little kitties. The mom is super sweet and comes to you when you call for her. The same with the little boy kitten. The girl kitty is very shy, but is used to lots of playtime with her brother.

At first I was put off by her shyness, but I realised that I already have a lovey dovey cat so I wouldn't be missing out too much. The adoption lady told me the boy cat was the dominant one and the girl was the submissive one. I thought it would be better to have a submissive cat to counter Boo's more outgoing and dominant behaviour.

I'm going to talk to hubby about it and make a decision this weekend.
