Here are some pics from the new house. As you can see, they have settled in nicely :)

There is nothing like a sunny window

Tabasco again. Can you see the spots developing on his side? Maybe he's descended from a Siamese leopard cat???

WOW...your cats are so beautiful and regal looking!!!

I guess it's quite a challenge to move with four cats...because cats are known for being addicted to boxes of all shapes and sizes...there's never an empty box with a cat in the house...

I love the pictures of your funny furry helpers!!!
Hope you all feel at home quickly, because a cat makes a house a home!;) :D

Mr Jones says it's a genetic disposition for long lanky bodies! (he sould know, living with 3 Meezers)

He, of course, has a disposition for a bowling ball style body.

Wow! Great pics! :D

Pixel is developing something similar in her coat, she is at least half Meezer. Except with Pixie, it's stripes rather than spots! They are so cute in both kitties!

I was so excited to see this thread! Your furries are such beautiful, serene cats. They look so happy and content in their new home. :)

How did they do with the move? Did you move far away?

They look like they're having the time of their lives with all those boxes. :D

They look like they're all settling in nicely. Thanks for the pics. It was very nice of you to take the time to post them right after a move. I know I'd be unpacking forever. :D

Jasmine thanks you for that compliment :) Her Granddaddy visited the other day and laughed at how tubby she was! He thought her belly swinging from side to side was hilarious while she was trotting around  She has lost a little bit of weight but hides it well in photos; the others don't have a problem even though they eat us out of house and home ...

Thanks for the nice comments :)

If the kitchen is still p-i-n-k , Mr. Pickles goes very well with it :) I love his color and his cute face :D But I also love all your other kitties.

I feel guilty now. Today we were out looking at laminate paint, so we can do a quick cover-up of the pink ghastliness - but it seems the kitchen has a cult following! ;)

Yeah, there is something very addictingly kitschy about that kitchen.

Your kitties are (as always) beautiful. Pickles is majestic!

Great pics. Your furkids are gorgeous! I am moving house next week, and I was wondering:

Did you take the cats through to the new place as you were moving, or did you leave them until last, when all your stuff had been moved already? I am so scared that Ally will get out whilst we are moving! We already had a close call yesterday when we were loading up some boxes to take to the new house, and the door was left open:eek:

I guess I will have to lock her in a room, for her own good, but she hates being locked up and gets very vocal about is - it really breaks my heart to hear her cry:(

Miss Meow

We emptied one of the bedrooms the night before the move and set up the room for the cats with litter tray, bed and food/water. When the removalists arrived we put the cats in that room so they wouldn't be disturbed (or run out the open door). Once everything had been delivered to the new house, we went back and got the cats. They made a bit of noise, but it was for their own good, and they got BBQ chicken for being so well behaved :)

Thanks for the advice. Ally has been VERY helpful so far, carefully inspecting each box inside and out before we pack things!:D
