Hi, I have a cat. If I get another cat could they share a littler box?
Or would they have to have a seperate box?

Hi Amber,

Yes your kitties could and will share the same litter box, but it's always a good idea to have one litter box per cat. Some say that it's even a good idea to have one more litter box than the number of cats that you have.

BTW, welcome to Pet Talk!

We have 2 cats and 3 litter boxes. However they tend prefer to use the same one and usually ignore the other two . Why I don't know, but it keeps me busy scooping :p

Here it is the same as with Maya and Bodhi. But you always need a clean backup box because some kitties absoutely don't like used litterboxes and look for plants etc.

Thankyou because I might consider a old elder kitty to my home. I have been posting stuff around because I want a another friend. I have been thinking all day. And thought about a older cat.
So thats why I asked and thankyou!
