Hmm ... good question. I always thought a "full meatloaf" was where there are no appendages showing -- tail in full wrap and all paws completely tucked in. I call it a puss pod. :D When their paws are out and their back legs are kinda up looks more like a turkey pose, but what do I know? :D :confused: They're all cute!

In answer to Phred's question, I believe the more "proper" meatloaf position is the one that is also known as "Parade Float Kitty" with all appendages underneath. The other one, with front paws out was brought up as the "turkey" pose by our infamous Mz Ritzy - who makes a wonderful turkey by the way. ;) :D

Although I really don't think it matters much, because these kitties are all so adorable in their meatloaf/parade float/turkey poses. :D

i came across the modified meatloaf this morning.

the modified meatloaf is the ML, but with the head down........

i was trying to get out of the house quickly- i had to wake eddie's lazy butt up so i could open the door...but since he was in the MML position in front of the door i thought of a new name....

LOL...we are well familiar with the "speed bump"...the problemwith kitty speed bumps is that, unlike their concrete counterparts, they "move around" when least expected....usually appearing in right in front of your feet as you are progressing forward in the dark in the middle of the night to the bathroom, the magic speed bump will position itself in front of one foot, then suddently in front of the other, matching your feet step for step until you either
a) accidentally step on the speed bump and make its alarm go off (A LOUD HORRIFYING SOUND) OR
b) you trip and fall trying to avoid option "a"

Yes, I was going to say another one of the differences with the concrete types is that these speedbumps hiss when accidentally stepped on making both hisser and hissee move faster than either thought they ever could, due to the daylights being scared out of both of them! Not a good thing in the middle of the night. ;) :D :D
