Rusty's daddy, Dash made it into the AKC ring (being a toller and all and just accepted in to the AKC) won Best of Breed all three days!!:eek: On Saturday, he took home a Group 4 placement, meaning he beat approximatly 580 Sporting Dogs who were shown that day. He is the first Toller west of the Mississippi to take AKC points, but because there was a show in Massachusetts starting July 1st, he wasn't the first Toller in the US.... oh well! Still, a historymaking weekend as Tollers enter AKC "for real", and Dash was a BIG part of it!:D
In just three days of showing, he has 8 of the needed 15 points for his AKC championship, and has earned both majors!!:eek: WOW! At this rate, and if there are enough entries, he should have his Championship in just another few weeks!!:D
