JULIUS HAS A HOME!!!!!

A vet tech at my vet's office is adopting Julius! YAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!!!!!! She was going to help me find him a home but when she saw the pic, she wanted him! Someone else showed her the pic today and she called me right after. I just now got the voice mail because my cell phone is messed up! But I'm SOOO happy! I'm supposed to be asleep right now but I'm so happy for the kitty!

I was feeling really bad tonight because Shiloh seems attention craved. I think I haven't been giving her enough lately between training people at the shelter, obedience classes, school, taking care of Julius and Reece. But now, no more seperating the house and she'll be with me all the time when I'm home again. YAY! Sorry If I'm not making sense. I'm sooo tired.

Actually, I'm very happy that you have found a place for Julius. He is adorable, and it has to be hard to let go, but he'll be fine, and then you can concentrate on Shiloh and Reece for a while (until you let the next stray inside) LOL!!!

Guys, I hate to break it to you but ... I'm insane! Last night after I was so happy, I got really sad. The house is going to be so empty without him. I'm gonna take him to my vet office and give him to her at work today. She's a very sweet girl and very excited. But my heart is going to break. I packed up a lot of toys that Shiloh never touches but he loves, and also the stuff I bought for him and his baby pictures so she can have them. Not having to juggle the cats around is going to make my life much easier.. but much sadder too http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/frown.gif

I know it must be somewhat sad for you and yet happy that you found him a great home (you can keep tabs on him also)! Aly, Julius is just adorable and will have a great home and best of all you can keep in touch. It's to hard to give one up we have come to love so much, but by giving Julius to a new family to love shows how much you do love him.

I also think its great that a vet tech is getting him. I offered to have him neutered for her but she said she already has the appointment for him and she'll be there tending to him the whole day.

Two receptionists and the vet tech are taking care of him right now. They love him and I sent him with a lot of toys and his bed so he'll feel more comfortable. Okay, everyone's saying, what's this cat person doing on the dog side? He he. Actually, I just got Freckle's email and was going to check out the dog posts to see what she meant about birthdays, when I happened to see this post. Aly, I surely never would have felt like that little baby had been "dumped" on me! I'm glad he's going to a loving home, but I am a little wistful 'cause he's such a cutie, and it's been along time since I had a yellow kitty. But my house is already full like you say, so this is probably best for him. And you will get to keep in touch with his new mommy, so that's good, too. But I know you'll miss him. Like I said in my email to you earlier today when you sent me the update on Julius, bless you for fostering him!

Aly, I am so happy you found a good Home for sweet little Julius. My black Female is also very territorial. She somewhat tolerates my other Female but absolutely hates the Male. Hissing and spitting or staring him down. She won't even let him pass by to get to his Food. Luckily he is submissive with her and avoids a Catfight. Now Shilo will get more Attention and you will be less stressed out.

Hi everyone. Its very quiet here tonight. Shiloh's really happy though. She keeps coming up to me saying "mrow mew". Maybe she's saying "Thank you!". I called the girl who has Julius 2 times today but I couldn't catch her. I'll give it 2 days and then call and see how they're doing. I told her not to feel bad if she changes her mind and wanted to return him back to me. I spent 3 hours with Benji and Piper today and they helped me keep my mind off things. Since Reece has obedience on Tuesdays, I get Piper ahead for the Thursday class since I know what we're going to do. It works and she's always right at the top of the class. In fact, she has sit, down, stay, shake all down pat so I worked on crawl and roll over with her today. Now jumping she needs MAJOR work on.
