hypoalergenic dogs

to the person in the first message who had to give up their dog because of thier son being allergic to dogs and cats i have great news. My whole family is alergic to dogs and cats but we now have three dogs. This is because of the breed called Bichon Frise's and they are hypo allergenic dogs. They don't shed and have hair almost like humans They are people lovers and we couldn't live without them.

Poodles also don't shed, along with Kerry Blue Terriers.

I have a Poodle/Bichon mix.

Thanks, cowlovr9797. I didn't realize they are! I haven't given up my pets yet. My son is on medications and we have hepa filters throughout the house. I've asked my big doggies to live outside for now on (they're the hairiest). I'm going to try everything under the sun before I give up my beloved animals. It's good to know that there's a doggy out there that is practically hypoallergenic just in case.

That's good that you can still have Dogs even though you are allergic . I don't know how anyone could live wothout any animal! They are one of the things that Keeps us alive! They are our Best friends!
