My friend at work forwarded this to me but it had sound too! I don't have speakers at home but it's really :cool: anyway. And let's not forget that it may be the 4th of July but it's really INDEPENDANCE DAY and we should remember and rejoice in the independance we have earned and that we long for around the world. For all people. For all nations. Not just in "politics" but in life styles and daily living. Thanks Pam. Surely hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday.

I went to our town's little parade. It was just wonderful, to say the least. Such spirit and creativity. There were several floats (home made of course), many pieces of fire equipment, kids from two different summer camps...marching and singing their little hearts out...candy being tossed to the children on the road side. It was over in 1/2 an hour and was also within walking distance of my house. I didn't take pictures because it would look to others just about what all the other parades in the country would look like!
