CAT LOVERS RULES: The Cat is not allowed in the House.

OK, the Cat is allowed in the House, but only in certain rooms. Ok, the Cat is allowed in all rooms, but must stay off the
furniture.

The Cat can get on the old furniture only. Fine, the Cat is allowed on all the furniture, but it is not allowed to sleep with the humans on the bed. The Cat can sleep on the bed, but not under the covers or on the pillow.

OK, the Cat can sleep under the covers and on the pillow by invitation only. Well, ok, the Cat can sleep under the covers every night and on the pillow too. Humans must ask permission to sleep under the cover with the Cat; only the Cat can sleep on the pillow

rules for sleeping with a cat...

the cat can sleep on the bed.

the cat must not sleep on the human.

the cat can sleep on the human but only if he does climb above the human's feet.

the cat can start his climb at the human's feet but must stop at the knees.

the cat can climb past the knees but must stop at the human's hip.

since the cat has climbed as high as the hip, he may venture onto the side of the human.

since there is practically no room for the climbing cat to sleep comfortably on the human's side, the climbing cat can sleep on the human's shoulder.

since the climbing cat cannot get comfortable on the sleeping human's shoulder, he does get one revolution on the human, in order to place his waving tail somewhere in the vicinity of the human's face.

since the climbing cat's tail moves across the slumbering human's face, the human has permission
to awake, get the cat tail out of their face, get a drink of water, use the bathroom, climb back into bed to begin the whole ridiculous routine again.

I love it when Ally snuggles with me (which only happens when hubby is away in business - he does not allow her to sleep in the bedroom) - but promise not to tell - OK;)

Pixel's Rules for Sleeping...

1) I am allowed to remove you jewellry form the bedside table and hide it during the night

2) Ditto your only pair of stockings without holes in them :rolleyes:

3) I am allowed to bring all my toys upstairs during the night and make my very own Middle of the Night Wonderful Trip to the Toilet Obsticle Course

4) I am allowed to run across both humans at high speeds

5) I am allowed to pounce on your "tender spots" during the night.

6) When I do finally catch a bit of shut eye, I am allowed to do the following:

a) Use all the bed space, leaving the two humans to duke it out for a small patch about 2 inches x 2 inches
b) Sleep under the covers
c) Sleep on the pillow
d) Sleep on the humans, even if it gives them pins and needles

7) And finally, I am allowed to wake up at 4 a.m. demanding food.

Fister here .... I'm allowed everything - EXCEPT standing on my dads chest on certain sundays, covering his view totally when the five red lamps turn on one by one on the TV screen!! (F1 start). :eek: At all other times, I can walk all over him, and lay on my mom's pillow too - that is, if she doesn't stand it upright. :rolleyes:
