Hello! Thanks for the warm welcome! I have seen pictures of your Tiki, I think caiques are so beautiful! Is Tiki as full of energy as I have read about caiques? Miss P is a female, she is a Meyers Parrot. She loves her baths. Sometimes she will get in the shower with me and then she loves to be dried with the hair dryer (on low heat/speed). Hannah I do not know the sex of. My hubby had picked the name Hubert for a boy and I really didn't like Hubert! I said I would call him Huey but not Hubert! I really liked the name Hannah so that is what we decided on. My hubby calls her Hannah Mae. Hannah is only 2 months old, she is a blue and gold macaw. I don't have a digital camera, I have a scanner. I will have to look for more pictures to post!

I don`t have any birds but I do have a rabbit named Thelmer. I also have 2 dogs,P.J. and Bailey, and 2 cats, Pumpkin and Barclay.

AWWWWWWWWW! How adorable! Hannah is just a little baby! :eek: How old is she now, and at what age do macaws get all their feathers? They are both SO sweet! I'd love to hear more about them! Its so nice to see an increase on the birdie population here on PT! :D Oh, and in case I forgot to welcome you before, WELCOME to PT! :D

Rottieluver45, yep, I am in Texas, you are about a 10-12 hrs drive from me. We are up in the top, about 5 miles from the Oklahoma State line.


popcornbird, thanks for the great welcome! All of ya'll have been so nice! I know I am going to love it here! Hannah seems to have more and more feathers every day. I am not sure the exact age that they feather out, I figure in a week or 2 she will be completely feathered. She still has pin feathers on her legs, some on her chest and under her wings. I will give ya'll picture updates often!

Your bunnies are adorable! We have had 2 bunnies, but with the dogs now I don't think we could have bunnies.

OMG!!! ur macaw is beautiful and very adorable! :D I LOVE MACAWS! but they are very expensive!

green_chameleon_girl, Thanks! We think she is pretty special! I am offering some soft foods to Hannah now, but she isn't much interested in them as of yet. But give her some time and she will be eating like crazy!
