I got this in my ASPCA newsletter-

Last year, the first National Greyhound Memorial Day was held on July 27, 2002. On that day, 25 rallies took place from coast to coast, and widespread print, radio and TV media coverage provided a way for thousands of people to learn about the killing and cruelty of greyhound racing.
This year, the event has been expanded to two days and will be global in scope: the 2003 International Greyhound Memorial Weekend will take place on Saturday, July 26 and Sunday, July 27 and will include greyhound advocates from around the world!
Please click here (http://www.aspca.org/site/PageServer?pagename=lobby_greyhoundday) to learn more about how you can participate in the 2003 International Greyhound Memorial Weekend.
On behalf of the greyhounds, thank you!
