Veggies? Hmmm.............

My favorites would have to be tomatoes, corn, spinach (especially yummy when cooked with ground beef or in pastries/lasagna with cheese), eggplant (cooked), okra (cooked), MUSHROOMS (favorite above all), broccoli, cauliflower (cooked), turnip (cooked ONLY in my mom's style...........don't like it otherwise), potatoes......sure there are more. Just can't think of them right now.

Popcorn and Muffin's favorites are peas and broccoli. ;)

I love almost all vegetables that it is hard to pick just one favorite, and it changes from time to time, but right now I would have to say fresh baby spinach. I have been eating a spinach salad almost every day, topped with sliced baby carrots, green onions, tomatoes, radishes, lots of mushrooms, and slivered almonds. If not the baby spinach, then my salads are Romaine. I hardly ever eat iceburg lettuce anymore.

I love the bean family: red beans, navy beans, black beans, etc. Peas and carrots (yum) - even the canned kind. Throw them on a pile of mashed potatos. Zuchinni, broccoli, asparagus, carrots...like I said, there are hardly any that I don't like. Maybe okra!

My favorites are lima beans, and artichokes. My least favorites are squash and mushrooms.

I love lima beans any way, any time (even in casseroles).
Artichokes too, but my most favorite is when they are cut in half, and blackened a bit on a fire, then dipped in chipotle (chile) mayonaise.

Broccoli (fresh only)
Spinach (not cooked, in salad form)
Carrots (not cooked)
Cauliflower (not cooked, fresh only)
Corn (fresh or frozen only)
Asperagus (so good in pasta or grilled with balsamic)

no mushrooms for me (they squeak -- you shouldn't eat anything that squeaks)
no tomatoes (unless it's the cherry kind)
no artichokes

lima beans, snowpeas, green beans, sugarsnap peas, water chesnuts, SPINACH (frozen or fresh), asparagus, green onion, purple onion, green/red bell peppers, cucumbers, cauliflower, pretty much any and all!!

and any eastener (who knows what I'm talkin' about) can send me ramps any day!!! :D ~STANKY but good stuff!~

I can list what I cannot stand- peas (unless in pot pie), lima beans (but love all other beans), brussel sprouts, and radishes.

I love most veggies raw..don't like broc, cauliflower, carrots cooked.

I love asparagus, fresh only- not canned; corn anyway it exists is fine (ok not in nut form), lettuces of all walks, and most of everything else....now, lets talk about junk food...

FOR A RECIPE??

hokay, the neighbor down the street.....

go to a store with a good seasoning section-
in NM you should have no prob....and look for the powdered chili-a little cilantro (coriander) or some finely chopped onion......

actually,
for a dip add some finely chopped bell pepper and some green (spring) onion...

and don't call me when your clothes don't fit!!;)

depends on the fire, they go ON the coals....

you cut them down, open the petals, sprinkle some chili flakes and olive oil and put the directly on the fire......i guess i'll have to make some soon to test the recipe;)

artie was a hit man...
he owed a Sammy a favor so he took
on a hit for two people Sammy wanted snuffed for the sum of one dollar to pay back the debt....

after a few weeks of stalking his victims he cornered them in the produce section of a market and strangled them to death...after the murders artie was tackled by some shoppers and held until the police came.

the next day the headline in the paper was..

Artie chokes Two for a Dollar at neighorhood supermarket.

All the sweet veges: carrots, corn, peas, potatoes.

I also like broccoli if it hasn't been overcooked, beans of any kind, sweet potato, asparagus, snow peas.

I had to do a 'search' to find out what it was :D :D I'd never heard of it either. But now that I know what they are, I don't really like them. I can eat them, but don't enjoy them. My inlaws eat them all the time, even baked with butter:)

I think u probably call it sweet potato in usa, not sure,KUMARA is what we call it here, its the maori name i think for the vegetable, but its known by that only here really.
Its an aquired taste i guess, never liked it as a child, but now i love it and roast pumpkin.
