Pinto or Paint

Do you prefer the Pinto or the Paint?

the pinto is more showy; with ancesters like the saddlebred, arabian, morgan, etc.

the paint is more stocky; with ancesters like the quarter horse, etc.

I've always liked the paints, I just love their stocky body's!! If I ever own at least 2 or 3 horses I want one of them to be a paint.

Im a neither I love My Quarter Horses....but if anything it has to be Paint...I really didnt know there was a differance.

Pinto has won me over... I met the sweetest pinto several yrs back & he fallowed me & my friend all over the field, he even fallowed us were no other horses go (on the big rock hill).. his name was Rocky. oh he loved to play tug of war with weeds, & he loved to lick me every where...
