How can Hitler go from such a 'good' (well, at least halfway normal) man to the crazy lunatic murderer he became?

I did a research paper on him, and he had some family issues....his father died when he was 14 and he moved out when he was 16 or something......major issues with his father and homelife.

Hitler was never married!

Everyone has three god things and three bad things about them. What you put was those two guys bad qualities against hitlers good qualities. Kinda unfair eh?

If you put Hitlers bad qualities with the other guys I'm sure you wouldn't have picked him. If you put the other guys good qualities I'm sure you wouldn't have picked him.

Was Hitler never married to Eva Braun?? Everything I researched on the internet says she was his wife.

Eva Braun was his mistress, not his wife, until the day before she died. Got married one day, suicide the next.

On April 29, he married his lover, Eva Braun, and wrote his personal and political will. He named Martin Bormann as his deputy, and banished Goering and Himmler from the Party for their disloyalty to him in his final hours. He appointed Grand Admiral Karl Doenitz as president of the Reich and commander-in-chief of the armed forces. He delivered his last tirade against "international Jewry." At 3:30 in the afternoon, about 15 minutes after Eva Braun took a cyanide capsule, Hitler, dressed in a new Nazi uniform, committed suicide by firing one shot into his mouth.

That's what I thought, and confirmed, Karen. It's funny how every article I looked up (about 10 of them) referred to her as his wife, though! Then when you read further, they would say he was her mistress for all but one day.

Did I get off topic or what? Sorry! :o
