Hayley is still walking on only three paws. She looks like she is in pain. She takes a few steps and then stops to lick her paw.

Here she is holding up her sore paw:

It makes me feel so bad to see her like this.

THEN I just happened to walk into the kitchen and this is what I caught on camera:eek: :

I could be wrong but I really think she would need to use both front paws to do this. Am I correct?

I think she would need both paws. In those pictures you wouldn't even know her paw was injured.

Those sneaky kitties. Could she be doing this do get your attention or more lovies? I've seen that kind of thing
happen before!!

It's a bird, it's a plane, NO - It's SPIDER CAT! LOL Too cute!

Mitzi does the paw up thing -- it's her kitty high fives. She knows she's being extra cute when she does that and it always brings extra petting and kisses.

Can it only be one? I think she deserves both.

How long do you think Hayley will keep this up?

Maybe she was so excited about catching that darn fly or whatever it was that she forgot about the pain. I missed some threads maybe, I didn't know she had something to her pawsie.

The thread about her hurt pay is posted in Cat Health. She is still taking medication and she is still limping and keeping her poor paw up. I am going to call the vet again today. She wants me to call and give an update to put on her file. We will she what she has to say about the limping and if she should come back for another checkup.

I checked already Cat Health and I found the thread. Poor Hayley.
That's why in my house there is nothing unstable - need catproof :) Some of my friends cannot understand why I ask them: Don't put this here or there, please move the chair away or things like this. But as soon as I expain them, they say - You have to live with a cat to foresee such things, just like with a baby.

Oh you silly Haylie! To scare your mommy so much, and then climb in the curtains the very minute she walks away!!!

Great pics Rosemary!!:)

Hayley is still not walking on her paw. I'm really starting to worry. I know its not broken but there has to be something wrong. If she was doing it to get my attention I think she would have stopped by now. It been almost a week. You would think she would stop so she would not have to take anymore medicine. Her vet asked me to call and give her an update today and when I left her the message saying that Hayley was still not walking on her paw the tech said that Dr. Speer would be calling me back. I hope she is not thinking there is something serious wrong.

Oh! Poor Hayley! I went back and read the thread in Cat Health -- poor baby. Perhaps you're just taking your sweet time healing? Mishi and Mitzi send extra kissies on that little paw and healing nuzzles. Hope you're up and around on all four paws soon.

How did she do that? Was the window open a bit? I just can't figure out how she could climb a window like that - with or without a hurt paw! :D

I believe she's on the screen!!
I went through a few of those screens on the porch door with my previous destructo-kitty Ozzie.

WOW, that Hayley is something else, isn't she?

I think I would follow up with the vet again. While she is probably just doing it from habit....a week without catching her sometimes walking on it is alot.

Good luck, and more pics, please..

Oh No! Haley, get better soon so your mum won't have to worry anymore! Poor girl, and all this happens for a little harmless "playing"
