View Full Version : New Problem

I think Fritz has decided the only person he likes is me. When my husband picks him up, all Fritz does is look around to see where I am. He is so attached to me, it's incredible. I'm thinking that maybe tonight my husband can feed him. Not sure if this will help but I sure hope so. I feel so bad for my husband. He loves Fritz so much but Fritz doesn't have much to do with him. Any suggestions?

I think you already know what to do. You need to let your husband take on some more of the responsibility of feeding, holding, walking outside, playing games, etc. He'll come around. Might be hard for you though, Tanya, to keep your hands off the little boy for a while. But I think it will help.
Good luck!

I agree with what you and Logan have already said. I hope it will work. Good luck http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/smile.gif

He is still a baby, and be careful what you wish for. As soon as Fritz figures out your hubby is "the leader of the pack" you may wonder what happened to Mommie's baby boy.

Actually Reece is the exact same way with me but its not a problem since I live alone and am not married. Pam and Rachel, are Bella and Hannah mainly attached to one person too?

Rachel is right, be careful what you wish for, I am Daisy's personal maid, but my husband is the leader of the pack with her.

Aly, it's like Jackie says. I am here to cater to Hannah so there is a lot of interaction between the two of us. She wants me to go outside to play with her, to feed her, to get her treats, to give her her massage, etc., etc. but when it comes to adoration and affection, it's Dad first and Mom second. All he has to do is walk in the door and it's like the whole world has lit up for her. And in the bed at night, he's the one she slaps herself up against.

I think a lot of it has to do with his age and also the fact that he is still getting to know you both. In the beginning Bella definitely showed favoritism to me. I think it might have even made my hubby sad. I remember one night he came home and she didn't even walk over to him, let alone run over wagging her tail! This was very early on. Now she is all over both of us and also my son. She really does share her time between all of us but I think since I am home more (I only work part time) and I feed her, I might have the edge!! http://PetoftheDay.com/talk/biggrin.gif I would definitely say wait a while before thinking that Fritz has already picked his favorite. He will probably surprise you!!
