Treacle is out properly, rather than escaping !!
(Please ignore the state of the garden and yes we bought a TV recently and left the big box temporarily in the garden.)

Wow, cute kitties! I wish I could let my cats out in our yard, but they would run away!

It is an English thing, the majority of cats with some exceptions (Like ChrisH's Beautiful Ebby) are allowed outside as they wish.

They love us and always return, in summer they spend many hours in the garden playing & sleeping but in winter choose to sleep in front of our real fire instead.
(Well George & Milly do, the others are too new and haven't seen our real fire on yet)

Great pictures of them enjoying being outdoors!:)

I wish I could let Ebby outside, but I just will not take that chance where I live. There are too many dangers, busy roads and lots of dogs.
There are quite a few cats in our street, latest count is 7 who live in the street (was nine but two have gone missing) and one tuxie who seems to spend most of his time around here. Of those permanant 7 there is only the three who belong to my neighbour, Glenys, that stay close to home, (I have posted the pictures of two of them Holly and PussPuss). Of the rest at least three live dangerously. Two are kittens and my heart is in my throat when I see them playing and running across the road, the same road where I witnessed my next door but one neighbours cat, Shelley, using up one of his nine lives as a car missed him by a hairs breadth, if the driver hadn`t used his brakes.....I shudder to think.
Yes, IF Ebbs would stay in the garden or very close I would love to let her out, especially now it is so warm, I have been tempted I must admit!:)

Chris,

You totally do right by Ebby. Of course you must keep her inside when you are living on a main road near loads of dogs.

I only mentioned Ebby to show that some English kitties NEED to be kept indoors. (And she is such a great cat)

Maybe you can cat proof the garden in the future and then Ebby could visit outside.

Thanks, PIF, I know you didn`t mean anything else!:D Like you say, maybe in the future I will be able to do something about cat-proofing the garden, or maybe make an enclosure or something...... LOL, the sight of me with a hammer in my hand is enough to make many people run, I am so no good at d-i-y! :D I wish I was, then I could make some screens for my windows too!:D

:) :)

Treacle is a true heart stealer :D

If I had a garden, I would also let Juni have fun outside.
