I was just watching this on the news...

Apparently, someone right here in my city had just finished drinking a container of Dole, when something was still inside of the container. After poking and prying, pieces of a SNAKE came out!!!:eek:

That's discusting!!

And they are still trying to figure out what species the snake is! They don't even know...

Sooooo gross....:eek: :o Never ever will I drink Dole again lol

BTW, ketchup is known to have grinded bugs, worms, all of that stuff in it. They crush the tomatoes with huge machines, so everything there goes in the ketchup with it. My brother's class did an experiment on this when he was in 12th grade. They got microscopes and ketchup and found fly wings and these bits and parts of worms. YUCK! :eek:

But I still eat it (taking that thought aside while I put ketchup on my food).

Eeeww... when I was younger (probably around 5 or 6) my parents bought me some of those Dole fruit snack bowls. I opened a BRAND NEW one and it was all rotten inside! So gross!! (The expiration date was fine :eek: ) I have been skeptical about Dole ever since... and this won't help! ;)

a certain percentage of "by products" in food..

That reminds me of the time I last drank V-8 juice. It was a small single service size can and I was drinking right out of the can. I felt something brush my upper lip so I poured the stuff in a glass. Two very squashed roaches came out. They must have got squashed by the machine and canned. I considered complained to the company but since I was alone at the time, figured it would be my word against theirs. I'll never drink that stuff again though or drink any thing out of a can or bottle without pouring it in a glass (that has been carefully checked) first.:eek:

i bought a 12 banger of 7-up and it was flat....
i sent them an e mail and they sent me a coupon for a replacement and two 2 liter bottle.....

this thread reminds me of the raccoons that rummaged thru the trash in a movie, was John Candy in it???? the joke thru the movie was that the hotdogs were made from lips and rears...

I worked at an RV park a couple summers ago. I was checking a couple into their site, and they were both wearing t-shirts that said something about "I'm part of the Viagra test team"

I've never seen two people more eager to park their RV and STAY in it! :eek: :D

Well...since we're talking about things in food....I once found something in a milkbone. I usually break it up into 3 pieces for Kai and when I broke one, it had a hair. Not a human hair though (which would have been prefered). I'm sure it was from an animal. My first thought was that it was a dog or cat whisker. After reading about the ingredients in certain dog foods, I was paranoid. It looked like a colorless semi-transparent fishing line...but a bit different. Shudders..gross

I was eating one of those nukable lunches (can't remember the name but was in a green box with some old lady on it). Half way through I bit into a bug!!! I called the number on the box and told them what happened. A couple of weeks later I got coupons in the mail for free meals. Yeah right! Like I'm gonna eat THOSE again!!

I figured they would want me to mail them the roaches. Since it happened over 5 years ago, I'll let it drop. I have never had the stuff since and plan on living my whole live saying, WOW! I never want to have another V-8!:eek: :D

for the record....
when i was a kid i was eating a burrito..
as i took a bite i saw a fly fly straight in to my mouth....before i could stop the 'bite' i bit the
fly in half.....ewwwwwwwww!!!

not too long after back i found out that cooked onions have the same crunch that houseflies have....

needless to say i don't eat cooked onions or raw flies any more!!!!

Ewww! :D That reminds me of my friend....She chews with her mouth open realy badly. Well she was riding her bike one day, chewing her gum, when a fly flew straight into her mouth, and she crunched down on it :eek: :rolleyes: I think she was more dissapointed to see it was stuck in her gum :rolleyes:

Why I don't eat Taco Bell anymore...and no it's not becasue I found out what grade of *meat* they use....

You know those little price stickers found on cans in supermarkets? When I opened my soft taco, I found one of those stickers on it with the expiration and that days date! Of course I knew it wasn't the taco that was expiring that day, but something they used sure was.

I'm glad I already finished lunch when I decided to open this thread.
