Going to school. :p Being a crybaby (when I was little). :p LOL Just kidding. Being a shy little quiet girl who would stay to myself and my Berenstain Bear books! :o:o:o

Oh yeah, I also spent the early 90s playing with dolls and Polly Pockets (still have them sitting around) and pretending my dolls were my little sisters going to school with me.

I got married in 91. We bought our house in 94.

Of our three cats, two were born in the 90's. Sid in 96 and Jan in 98.

I quit smoking.... I went to work each day.... and now the grey hairs on my head and the crows feet around my eyes tell me that I'm not getting any younger.

the rest is a blur - how could 10 years fly by so fast?

i worked for a psycho from h##l in 92-97. a brilliant doctor, but a horrid human and awful boss. her abuse upset me so that i was on antidepressants for 2 years until i could get away. i did learn alot, and i was able to use those skills in my new job. the person who hired me away saw me working in her office and moved me into a much much better position. in 99 i started working to get out of debt with a long term plan of buying a house. and alex the wonder dog moved into my heart on may 1, 1996.

1990- We had a tame Gray Squirrel, who we called Stumpy (since he was missing 1/2 its tail), who lived in our yard and would eat out of my hand, and come in our house to explore. When ever we wanted to see him/her, we made a special clicking noise and he/she would come down the tree for its daily love. I have pictures of Stumpy in the safe.
1992- I got to play with a wild White-Tailed Deer in our neighbor's yard up north. It had a red tie on it's neck, and we called him Bucky. I have pictures of him at the cottage.
1994- Got a solid black male Guinea Pig named Klien Hans. Started English horseback riding lessons. Dam at Lake Arbutus broke 1/2 mile from cottage, causing a huge flood, my dad and his friends (along with volunteer fire department) rescued people who we trapped in their homes. Pa was in the local newspaper for that. The flood caused millions of dollars in damage.
1995- First trip to Kentucky with my mom and grandma.
1996- Klein Hans, my guniea pig died.
1997- Took a trip to Texas.
1998- Grandpa died in his sleep
1999- Grandma got Dudley from the humane society
2000- My grandma died. We inharited Dudley.
2001- I got my first pair of rats: Oreo & Skittles.
2002- Nothing much
2003- Nothing to exciting

Geeze...that was long.

In 1990, my small country was still part of Soviet Union, I cut my hair very short (from very long) and I fell in love for the first time:)

In 1992, I graduated the highschool, we had a war going on 7 km from my house and I went to the University, to Romania.

From 1992 to 1997 I lived in Romania, missed my family, missed my country (even if I was just 200km from the border and used to go home every month). Otherwise, it was a very happy period of my life. In September 1996 I had a cat, Kuzea, in the University dormitory.

In 1997 I worked as a journalist for a news agency.

Between 1997 and 2000, I worked in a travel agency.

We adopted our daughter Indra! She arrived from Calcutta in India on September 18, 1990!
We also made the plans to have a new house built.

Interesting, except for the war, which was and always is a waste of human lives for the financial interest of some groups of people

1990 We adopted Brandy (doggie), and I lost my beloved Whiskey (kitty) to the RB. I also thought lycra bikepants were really cool.

1991 We adopted Soda and lost her to the RB the same year. We adopted Cola, who had many adventures as a kitten such as following us to school and once she got lost and we took home the wrong cat!

1992 Mum and my ex-stepdad got married. He is nice, but the StepSisters from Hell were not. Cola had kittens and we kept one, naming her Tequila. Note the pattern here? Boozers that we were. Well, I was too young to drink in 1992, but I made up for it in later years

1993 I didn't do much except pass primary school. Barely.

1994 I became a baaaad girl, drinking, smoking, shop lifting and eventually running away from home. I only returned home because my friend chickened out. Just for good measure, I failed my Maths test on my birthday, met my first boyfriend Clay, and turned thirteen. Ugh, why oh why did I wear flannies and red jeans three sizes too big?

1995 Mum decided to send me to a strict, Christian school to help me mend my ways. I still don't know why to this day, but I just stopped talking to Clay and we drifted apart. At school, immediately began to do well, and as a reward, we adopted Milo (kitty).

1996 Mum and Kerry split.

1997 Whiskey (kitty, second of that name) was born in my bedroom cupboard while I was doing my Math homework. She almost fell out, save for the umbilical cord! I thought overalls were the epitome of high fashion.

1998 I began Grade 11 with much trepidation, but loved it as it was my first public school exposure since 1994. We had no uniforms, addressed teachers by their first names, and it was within a 1km radius of a shopping center and all the fast food joints you can imagine.

1999 I finished high school in the top 2 percent of the state. I also turned 18, which is the legal age of adulthood in this country. I celebrated by becoming intoxicated on many, many occasions. Especially New Year's Eve.

:)

Those were the UNEVENTFUL years....the "naughties" brought some rather drastic changes to my life!
