Well....you all know these, but I thought I`d post anyway!:D

* A cat can`t see directly under its nose

* The largest breed of cat is the gorgeously floppy Ragdoll; an average male will weigh around a stone and a half.

* A cat spends around 70% of the day asleep and 15% of the day washing.

* Cats have amazing hearing: it`s at least five times keener than that of a human adult. Much of this is due to the fact that they can rotate their ears 180 degrees.

* Cats have a strong place in superstition: a black cat crossing your path is said to bring good luck, as is dreaming of a white cat.

* Most cats don`t have eyelashes!

Interesting facts.


Cats have amazing hearing: it`s at least five times keener than that of a human adult. Much of this is due to the fact that they can rotate their ears 180 degrees Ahhh. So when I open a can of cat food and all 4 cats (not including Bramble) instantly appear at my feet, they have heard me open the tin, even if they were outside or upstairs ?
