did you guys get it bad there? My aunt in Fenton said she couldn't even see 2 feet out the window it was raining so bad. And there were tornados and stuff...

Just lots of rain and wind gusts, a few tree limbs down, but the tornado didn't appear until after the storm moved on from my parents area.

As a side note, I live about an hour south west of Fenton. :)

Oh I enjoyed the videos and pictures so much, especially the video where she is thumping her tail!!! There is nothing to make one's mind feel more at ease than to see their baby thumping their tail! Hugs to you sweet Kia! I hope you're feeling better each day! :)

Thank you so much for posting the pics & videos. It really
does show what she's been thru, but she still wants to cheer
you up with a waggin' tail.:) Bless her heart. Whoever said
that "a picture (video) is worth a thousand words", was right.

I'm so glad she pulled through! The thumping tail vid was so adorable, she's such a cutie pie! The blue-ness of her tail adds a bit of extra essence don't ya think? lol

She's doing better I think. :) She greeted me at the door, wagging her tail, but she looked visibly tired. We played a little tag, and she loped behind me instead of her usual run.

For dinner we made her rice, cottage cheese, and a few pieces of her dry food and she ate some of it. I added some garlic powder a little later and she ate a little more but left quite a bit in the bowl.

She had good bowel movements..... a little soft but no sign of blood at all. :)

She's still drinking lots of water. I wonder if her meds are making her thirsty? Either way, I'm glad she's staying hydrated. :)

All in all, I hoping she'll be eating more by the end of the week.

Oh my god, I was away for a while and just read what happened to Kia. Glad you are home now Kia, what an ordeal you've had. Hope you have a complete recovery! You're still cute as ever!

How great it is to actually see Kia in action. She does look tired, but alert and getting better!!
I'm so happy that she is home and getting spoiled rotten--she deserves it. The tail thumping video is my favorite--so much can be said by just a simple tail thumping!!

Yes, I'm so happy to see her up and moving around and eating a little bit. It may not be a lot, but it's more than she has been eating which is a sign of improvement. Keep us updated! We'll keep you both in our prayers!

We took it off late on Saturday because she wasn't having any more diarrhea. :)


I'm really happy with her progress. :)

I've been away for a few days, but I'm glad to see that Kia is up & around. She looks so much better in the 2nd set of pics & vidoes than she did in the first set, I'm sooo happy!
