and it is of course... Lassie... :)
I use to love watching Lassie growing up, especially "Jeff's
Collie", but never really wanted a Collie. Now that I have
one, I can't image having anything else. As of late, I've been
watching old reruns of Lassie on Discovery Kids and I can see
why she captured so many's imagination. She's so majestic
looking and those Collie eyes really have a way of conveying
so much emotion.
Anywho, I was thrilled to see that Lassie made it onto the hero's
list. In fact she's the only animal on that list. Go Collies!! :)
The only other dogs I remember seeing were the dalmatians from
101 Dalmatians, when they showed Cruella Deville on the Villian
list and Toto (Big Yeah for the Cairns too!!:)), when they showed
the Wicked Witch from the Wizard of Oz on the villian list.
