One of my friends is moving and can't take her cat tree with her, so she gave it to me. It's not the prettiest cat tree since it's homemade, but the cats really love it. I put some new carpet on it since the other carpeting was very torn and dirty. Here are some pics.

Here's Salty, one of my porch cats hanging out on it before I brought it in.

I think Salty is a fine looking kitty. Any chance of him joining you indoors ? Does he just hang out on your porch or is he one that works the whole neighborhood!

Salty doesn't like being inside, when the weather gets really bad we put her in the guest room, which she'll tolerate. She hates other cats, if she is around other cats and isn't able to get away from them she starts pee wars. She's around 15 years old, she belonged to my landlords mom who passed away a few years ago, so when I moved in my landlord asked that I please feed the cat. Salty is happy on the porch, she's so old that she doesn't ever leave the porch area, she gets lots of attention. So, we've decided that it's best for her to stay on the porch since that's where she's lived for 15 years.

That's great that you can take care of her...on her terms of course. She looks great for a 15 year old. Those pee wars ...I'm all too familiar with.

Uba, nice cat tree! I am pretty certain our kitties don't care if it is a store bought fancy dancy tree, or a home made one. Both seem to do the trick!

She's super healthy for her age, 15 is kind of a guestimate. No one is really sure exactly how old she is but our landlords daughter is 20 and she says that Salty has been around as long as she can remember. And I've seen pictures of my friend when she was a little kid and Salty was in the picture.
Our landlord pays for us to take her in to the vet for checkups, and he says she looks great for her age. Last year she had some teeth extracted, but other than that we've never had any problems with her. My roommate loves her as if Salty were her own cat. I'll post some more picture of her in another thread.

Very cool! I like that extended perch, I bet your cats like that...they can hang over and see what's going on below.
