We both met Gini yesterday and she threatened - in that lovely West Coast purr - that Shane had better get a log-in!

He will be so embarrassed now because he just wanted to come in s-l-o-w-l-y!!! :D He will learn that there is no such thing as 'slowly' in PTville :)

Maybe Mr. Meow should be called Ken...as in Barbie and Ken? To go with the new PINK digs???

Yes, he's still recovering from Sandy Frost's naked kitty day :D

Shane's log-in won't let him post, so hopefully Karen and Paul can resolve the issue so he can start blabbing. But he says thanks for the welcome, and I can't repeat what he said about the colour pink!

Hello Everyone on PT, I have finally made it, I am now logged in!!!

Thankyou for all the kind welcoming messages, I look forward to seeing up close the phenomenon that is Pet Talk.

Hello to Koxka, your posts and pictures are great, also, thanks for the Engagement pressie, that was very kind of you.
Hello to Gini, another wonderful animal appreciating person, It was very nice meeting you in our town...
Thanks also to my better half, Ms Meow, who saved the day by coming to my aid when I rang to say, babeee....It wont work!

And lastly thanks to our fur-children, who continually amaze me....I must learn how to speak Siamese, does anyone know the language??

Look forward to Pet Talking with you all....MM

WELCOME SHANE

Lovely to have you nattering too - and yes I'm pretty good at speaking Siamese - it's very loud and very similar to speaking English when abroad - you simply keep repeating yourself, getting louder each time!!

Mr. Meow, two things...you WILL have your own log in name, won't you?

And, I think this is at least the second time I have seen the word 'present' shortened to 'pressie'. Is this just the Meow family lingo, or do Aussies shorten the word all the time? I think I will add it to my vocabulary...as it is much cluter* than present..

*cluter- a word used by adults in Cataholics family in honor of the now 24 year old nephew, Joe, that just couldn't say CUTE! We try only to use it intra-family...as strangers look at us as if we are, well, strange!

the word 'present' shortened to 'pressie'

We use that phrase a lot, typical English phrase.

Hopefully when I press the "go" button, this post will zoom out into cyberspace to its rightfull place on PT....

Then if that happens and I am still logged in I will be mightily pleased as that will mean that my frustration at not being actually logged in but appearing logged in will have ceased and normality would have become of thy login!!

Thanks to all that have welcomed me, I look forward to meeting you all and hearing of your beloved animals.

........we don't usually allow novices to simply send stuff into "cyberspace", but we made an exception for you as you obviously needed help

Help....oh I need more than help....I can only log-on at home at the moment.....for some reason when I try to logon at work, it says I am logged on yet boots me off, weird thing is though that I stay on the screen supposedly logged in...GO FIGURE?

MM, have you tried to just post when it says you're logged in? I don't have to log in everytime at work, but I logged once :) I don't know if you were able to log at all at the office.
