We've got one, with 'Buddy.' I'm kind of surprised that I never see 'Pup' or 'Puppy' on these types of lists - I guess that, for a very uncreative name, it turned out to be rather original!

Thanks for sharing that, Angel! I am surprised Daisy isn't somewhere up there. Oh well, I am kind of glad; I feel oriinal, even though I know 3 other Daisys!!! One is Jackie's sweetie, and beleive it or not, two others are Bassets!!

The most memorable basset to cross my path ('sides Miz Daisy of course :D ) was one named Puddin'. The name suited her to a T!

i am not seeing a "scrubber" or a "delilah" in there....glad to be original ;) scrubber was because he looked like a scrub brush!!!!but he was beautiful in my eyes!!!!!! ;) delilah came with hers so i cannot take credit...however we did shorten....based on her eating habits...to the deli dog!!!!!! :D ;) :D ;)

Drake is pretty original as well. I have never met or heard of another dog with his name. He was named after Sir Francis Drake, the world explorer.

I love the name Daisy :) I used to have a teddy bear hamster named Daisy. She was my pride and joy.

Thanks for sharing! Lindys pretty orginal, but Buddy's names not! Thought he wasn't named Buddy because its popular... See, Buddy's my sister's dog, and she named him after her husband's childhood imagenary friend! :D

Our's was named Buddy because that's exactly what he is! He joined our home and became Paula's much-needed best buddy! He also tries to be the best pal of any human he meets. So it may be unoriginal, but Buddy suits our boy perfectly! :D

My dog is named 'Scout', after the little girl in "To Kill a Mockingbird", one of the all time great books/movies. She is a bit spunky and feisty like Scout in the book too. She is a good girl at heart.
