Sorry, I just couldn't keep from sharing my news!!
:o :o :o

While they are gone on their honeymoon, we are babysitting their two furbabies. So far this has been an interesting experience - to put it mildly!
:D :D

Congratulations, RobinH, and to your son and his new wife as well.

Now we would like to know about these furbabies! What are their names, what kind are they, and how old? ;)

Kevin and Lynnette rescued two mixed breeds from local shelters. Lexie looks the most like a flat coated retriever. She's black with just a couple of white spots on her. Beautiful feathery coat. She was one of eight puppies abandoned in a ditch. Their first year with her was a challenge - she is so HIGH energy.

After about a year she was still such a live wire, they adopted Rory so that she would have someone to play with. Rory is a real color combination - has some golden (I think) in him, but he's small in size. Really interesting markings on him and the most beautiful tail - looks like a duster.

I'll try to get pictures of them later and post.

They get along fairly well with all of ours. We do have to watch Rory around Molly. He likes to play so he gets her on her back and won't let her up. She gets pretty scared and has to be rescued. Doesn't hurt her, just scares her. She's used to being in charge (she's my rottweiler in a yorkshire's body).
