I have a morning glory but i dont know if its a annual or a perennial does anyone else know where i can find this information or does anyone know the answer?

morning glory is an annual. But it is a very persistant plant that may sow seeds that survive a mild winter. (of course, all this really depends on your location...warm vs. cold climates)

Aha! I always thought it was a perennial, but that must be due to our relatively easy winters...

It is a "self-seeding annual" as it's seeds drop into the soil, then they come up the next spring. I have had purple Cosmos do that, too, in the one really sunny spot we have in the yard!

If your morning glory is the same purple climber as ours, it's very pretty but does a great job of overtaking trees and other plants. It germinates very easily so be careful and keep it where you want it, rather than where it wants to go :)
