Meet August, My aunts great dane! and guess what!?

This is August. She is my aunts Great Dane. And guess what! SHE'S HAVEING PUPPIES! She was bred to a blue great dane. The pups are due tomorrow!:D May 8th. But they could be born tonight! (I'll let you know)

I may sound stupid saying this but it's true,

Most danes are better in apartments than big houses. If you guve them enough exercise they would be fine:)

Never seen a hugely pregnant Dane before! My Gracie was a black 3/4 Dane, so now I know just what she would have looked like pregnant! :) How very exciting to have puppies imminent ... do let us know! Blue Danes are soooo pretty, maybe she'll have some! :)

I may look stupid saying this too but.....Danes generally eat less then the average poodle, because they are not a sporting or hyper active breed!:)

it must be soo exciting to witness a birth. & tomorrow is a special day too, its rob's b-day!!!

& I soooo want a great dane someday, or a mastif, but not a pure, it has to be a mix, or atleast from a shelter

lol actually I think that is true!

one of my friends is a dane breeder. they have 10 great danes and all are pets. they sell the pups for 1000.00 each... Depending on colors, and if the potential buyer wants ears pinned.
