View Full Version : Edwina's Continuing Obsession

Edwina continues to be obsessed with the new furniture in the bedroom.

Here she is sitting in the drawer of my husband's dresser. In the morning she sits and begs me to open the drawer...then she sits in it and looks at me while I dress. But most incredible....

While I was out of town my husband was watching the t.v. in the dresser (the true purpose of the furniture purchase.) He fell asleep with the doors to the dresser open and that's where Edwina spent the night.... sleeping in the cubbyhole in the t.v. cabinet!

Dear Lady Edwina, just send me a PM and I tell you how to open the drawers yourself, you know I'm a specialist in inhouse burglary.

Miss Edwina: Being the fashion consultant that you are, I understand that you just want to investigate the latest attire and what better place to check it out but the drawers! Can you offer my any advice please? I have a black skirt and was wondering if it's a fashion no-no to wear it with a light blue top?? And what hat should I wear? You should charge for your services.:D

Dear Slick,

I would recommend a light blue and black scarf to tie together the blouse and skirt. Momma keeps her scarves in the middle drawers in her dresser. I will get one out of her drawer for you and send it to you as soon as Tigris sends me the instructions for opening the drawers on my own.

Fashionably speaking,

Edwina

(If it is a hat occasion...I would recommend black straw with light blue flowers...I haven't seen one of those yet but I will keep looking....)

No ordinary cardboard box will do for Edwina. She wants to snuggle in style in a dresser cubby hole. Probably loves the wood smell too. You look divine even in drawers er dresser drawers Edwina. :D

Dear Miss Edwina:

Do you also consult on window treatments? We like to give the shear draperies in the living room window the "distressed look" because we think it is very fashionable, but the humans don't care too much for our work.

Sincerely yours,

Jan and Joxer

My tabby Rodin (RB this past summer) used to have a furniture fetish, too. Only his was different. He had to LICK all the new furniture that came into the house! He would literally be unside down licking the bottom of it to make sure he got it all! He was a little strange. He went through a wall licking stage too. Nothing worse than waking up to the sound of a raspy kitty tongue on a textured wall in the middle of the night!

Dear Edwina,

But of course, your mum and dad must have misunderstood something - this IS YOUR new bed, isn't it!! :D

I have checked with Ally, and we have browsed some furniture sites on the net, so I can tell you with very good authority that the item you pruchased is NOT, in fact, a DRESSER, but is a :

"MULTI-ROOM CAT CONDOMINIUM" which can be customised with the addition of a co-ordinating range of cushions, pillows and catnip!
