I was emailed this today- it's some of the questions included on the test for citizenship. It's kinda interesting to see how much you know. I'm ashamed to say that I only scored 5 :eek: Well, at least I'm honest!

Ok, how dumb am I?? I got 10/12, but, misread number 4 and thought it said Congress...ok, how do you misread Congress for Supreme Court.... and number 6 was one of those "How many animals did Moses take on the ark?" questions....I read what I wanted to read. Oh well, I guess 10 isn't too bad, but I should be ashamed since I teach my 8th graders this stuff every year. *mugsy goes and hides in the corner.*

First one - 8/12 - I gave the President the power to declare war - no comment on current events; OK, so I added two Supremes to the 9; 1787 - needless to say I got it right the second time :D ; and DUH - of course you don't have to be elected by the people.\
Second one - 10/11 - hmm, got more interested in geek - oops, Greek Mythology and forgot the one I missed
Third one - TaDa 9/10 - OK, so I didn't know heacles had to face 12 challenges (or something like that)

I got 7/10 on the military quiz and 5/10 on the politital jargon quiz. That second one was tough - I was guessing at most of the answers.
