Ok, Rottie, I voted for Carl (by the way he is ahead right now), but I had to pass over those beautiful Golden Retrievers and it was tough! It's done though, because you did such a great job promoting Carl on Pet Talk. I love all dogs, actually, even though I've never had a Rottweiler. Ok Rottie....I already told you how I felt about Carl and your photos and since he already has so many votes, and as much as you are a Pet Day friend, I had to vote for Buddy the GR or I'd never forgive myself. Yes, correct. Sorry, I guess I didn't quite explain it right. He won the 1st contest. So, now he's competing with all the winners from last month. He's way behind now though, the White Shepherd in the swing has a zillion votes! And just 2 or 3 days ago it had about 2. Oh well.....

Well, like you, I'm now checking Pet Talk several times a day as well! There seems to be many nice people on here, people that are just as in love with dogs as I am. Most people that know me probably think I'm a bit nutty, actually--it's nice to know that there are others out there!

Talk about being caught in the act! Yesterday afternoon I took Cody out to sit on the porch, and since the cement was a bit chilly, I ASKED him if he wants his blanket! Ya know, just normal, everyday conversation, and a woman walked by and said "the things we don't do for our pets!" Like, I KNOW that was crazy, and I was putting the blanket down anyway, but I just thought I'd ask him!!!
