The other night while trying to get spike to go to bed I couldn't understand why he wouldn't go into the bedroom. Well, after a long battle we soon realized that it was because of the ceiling fan (it was the first time he saw it running).
Finally, after a lot of coaxing he came to bed but kept a close eye on that fan.
Well, about 2 hours into our sleep we had a massive thunder storm. A huge boomer and Spike litterly flew off the bed and ran to Max. (Usually, Max is deathly afraid of thunder and jumps right on top of you...but this didn't seem to bother him...his hearing must be getting a little worse...afterall, he is 15!)
Anyway, we couldn't get him back in the bedroom...he kept looking at the ceiling fan...like it was what made that loud boom! Finally, after the storm passed Spike eased his way back up on the bed.
We still get a laugh out of it everytime we tell this story.
Just wanted to share!
