Foxy loves having baths and whats even better is that he doesn't roll around in the grass of mud aferwords.

5 dogs - no one likes baths. All will do whatever they can to get away when they think it is bath time.

Sadie loves them!!! Spot and Cincy are both very good about them, but I think given a choice, they would skip 'em Cincy loves to be dried off afterward though!

George hates baths.
As I value my arms I won't try bathing Milly.

Dakota and Destiny hate baths! I'm not sure how I'm going to bath them while Brian's away, he always took care of that part. Sierra is pretty good about them and she's little enough that I can force it even if she didn't. DAKOTA will be my real challenge! Me fighting with a pup bigger than me, weighs more than me, who doesn't like showers, yeah, that's gonna be fun!

Maddie absolutey loves getting a bath. She loves the jets of
water, massaging her back and the toweling off part best.

Murph is good about it, but the only part he really seems to love
is the toweling off.

Oz started out being scared and hating bathes, so I'd get in
my bathing suit and get in the tub with him. Talk calmly to him,
while I'd toss a lil' water on him and he slowly started
to get more use to it. He eventually got too big for me to
lift up and into the tub, so I bought a shower attachment and
just walk him into the shower now. I can tell he still doesn't
like it, cuz he'll try to lick the water off his legs as soon as it
hits them, but for the most part he's real good about it. He's
even gotten to where, when it's Maddie or Murph's turn, he'll
stick his nose into the shower to see what's up.

Yes and no...Malone loves to climb into the bathtub and schnoofle (:)) around in it, and he doesn't mind the water being turned on. But he isn't too sure of the soap part and the rinsing part. He kinda freaks out. But I think that with every bath, he is getting used to it.

hm interesting, I just finished bathing kai. He's had about 5 or so in his life. So maybe about every 2 months. He just loves getting dirty... Today, he was pretty good. I got in my bathing suit and went in with him to hold him and calm him down. I think he's scared of them cuz I saw him kinda shiver but he got better as we went on. The best part, is seeing him react after a bath.
he's even gotten better at blowdrying. He use to be terrified. We slipped on a collar and leash to hold him there but he slipped out with ease. But today, we decided to put him in his crate and blow dry him from the outside...I guess he realized that it's not so bad. It sure makes a difference when I blow dry his coat...it's all puffy now.

Here's a pic of him drying off attached.

Leather LOVES baths, as long as they are in the bath tub ;)

Timber hates baths, she tolerates them, but she will make a few attempts at a getaway  She stands in the tub, with a truly pathetic look on her face

Frisco and Icarus absolutely HATE baths. Wanna see what they do to me when I give them baths???

And they've done worse  They SCREAM when I give them baths - I mean it, they screech to the high heavens. It's because I don't give them baths very often, only every month or two, so they never have a chance to get used to it..

Sara HATES baths. When I put her in the tub, she yowls like a siamese cat. She doesn't scratch me, but she tries to jump out alot. One time it got so bad I had to tie her up in there, poor baby :(

That pic of Kai is SO cute!! :D

Reggie hates baths......he'll jump right in the bathtub, but he never will hold still. He freaks out with the blowdryer too. I've started to just bath him at work, that way I can just put him in a kennel to dry.

Smokey always starts to shake when he thinks its bathtime. He gets a very pathetic look on his face. Once he's in the bath, he's pretty good though. He likes the warm water. He'll still try and jump out if he gets the chance though.....it's been more then once we've had a soapy poodle running around the house. He quite likes the blowdryer, as long as it stays away from his face.

I've never bathed Nebo at home. I usually bath him at work every 4-6 weeks. He's a very good boy. Usually I put the Tea Tree Oil shampoo on him and just let it soak in for a good 15 minutes...he gets the pathetic look on his face, but he just sits there. I also make him sit in conditioner for about 15 minutes, and brush him with it on. He's one of the best dogs I've ever seen about the high pressure dryer. I put him up on a table and blow his coat out like crazy, and he just stands there. After too long sometimes he gets impatient and moves around and whines though. When I put him in a kennel to dry he just curls up and goes to sleep.

My dogs are the biggest dorks......all 3 know that the bathtub is the source of evil baths (though I've never actually bathed Nebo in it, I've washed mud of his feet/legs many times) yet all 3 will willingly jump right into the bathtub.

Keesha cannot STAND having a bath. It's hard to force her into the tub, and once she's there she tolerates it. She goes NUTS afterwards though and you'd think she loves it.

We don't bathe our cat; just the dog.

Yesterday was Bath Day here, so I'm fresh with answers (and scratches!!) Abbey hates it, she won't even walk into the bathroom. She's heavy, but I can get her in their--our tub has steps going up to it, so they have to be carried in. She tolerated it yesterday. Kito scratched my feet--he's like a cat--he gets scared and starts clawing at me--but after a while he was ok, then he started whining during rinsing. Riley wasn't too fond of it either, but he didn't mind.
Basically, for me to do all 3 of them alone was a lot easier than I thought it would be--I just had 3 wet dogs running around the house!!!

Not sure if we have ever given our cats a bath. Our dogs don't really like baths. Once they are in there they know they are stuck, so they put up with it (most times  ).

I can scrub Daisy and shampoo her, she loves that! However, when it comes to rinse time, she uses all of the strength that she can to get out of the tub!

Dakota's Mommy

Well, I battled the first round with them all on Monday night for they're first baths since they're daddy's been gone. Sierra was first and her's went pretty good. Kept trying to jump out of the tub but she's little enough to stop in mid air and put her back down. Destiny went next with little trouble. I did have to pick her up to carry her to the bathroom and set her in the tub, but once in their keeping one hand on her at all times stopped her from really fighting to get out. Dakota on the other hand, I don't know how I got her into the tub. Into the bathroom and infront of the tub was no problem. From infront of the tub into the tub was the fight. And she's a strong one. Mommy eventually won out and once in the tub she stayed in there with me staying in front of her at all times to ensure it. I do have bath time pics finally, but these are from the bath they got the weekend before Brian left for Iraq. So here they are:

My two boys are ok to bath..most of the time they are trying to get out or walking back and forth in the tub and getting just out of my reach they love to get me wet also..lol..but they love the blow drier even when they don't get a bath. they will close their eyes and move their head from side to side when the blower is on..makes me laugh
