What an amazing story.

I am a bit confused why the police officer shot the dog, why didn't he take it to the vets ?

All well that ends well.

Interesting interview. Matt actually seemed to be interested. Why would the woman have just let her out with no fence or anything? Why hadn't she been spayed. Geez! I'm sure glad she's going to be ok. she looks great considering what she's been through.

I saw this on Inside Edition. They showed videos of the dog. She is SOOOOOOOOO CUTE!!!!!

Inside Edition said the woman had a fence and the dog jumped over it and ran right into the street. The owner said the police officer said he "didn't have time" to take the dog to the vet

Poor dog, they should've taken her to the vet right away, instead of having her go through all this:(

Fox did an interview with the vet and Dosha from the animal hospital. She looked amazing and so alert and perky! What a survivor; and SO sweet! I agree, Aly. The officer should have taken her straight to the vet's and let her/him decide what action needed to be taken.:(

I can't help but feel that when these things happen - and Dosha receives so much media attention - that there is a reason! It is my hope that the reason reaches many people - and they will have their animals spayed - be sure they always have a collar and tags - and that people will stop and think - THIS IS SOMEONE'S BELOVED PET!! - especially this police officer!
